Home to one family for over 900 years, Petworth Park is a 17th-century mansion that is home to a unique collection of art. Art from different centuries like the Percy Dynasty, the Napoleonic Wars, the Tudor Reformation, and the Gunpowder Plot is portrayed at Petworth Park mansion. The mansion also holds a wide array of paintings by some of the most famous artists in history. Some of the artists were Turner, Van Dyke, Flaxman and Blake.
To portray the life 1000 years ago, there are a Servant’s Quarters that offers an insight into the lives of the servants 1000 years ago. Petworth Park has a gorgeous garden called the Pleasure Ground where you will find beautiful warm colours and different gorgeous flowers. One of the most amazing things about Petworth Park is the ancient trees found here. There is a circular pathway that takes directs around the grounds where you’ll be able to take in the views of the ancient trees of the 17th century.

The Park is one historic land with over a herd of 500 deer. The deer have called Petworth Park a home for 500 years. The scenic view and the vast wildlife attract people to come and take a walk through. The woodland and trails will take you through some of the best parts of the entire park.

Petworth Park loves dogs and hence the reason why dogs are allow here. Bring your dogs for a walk at Petsworth any time around the year.
