About the Tour

An absolute gem of the British Isles, Anglesey is a mesmerising island located just a bridge away from the mainland. On this short break, you’ll be immersed by the wildlife on both land and sea.

For the duration of this break, you’ll be staying in a beautiful waterfront accommodation that possesses exclusive vistas of the Irish Sea, where, if you’re lucky, you’ll be able to spot the harbour porpoises that call the area home.

This short break is designed with marine life in mind. The key species you’ll be looking out for include the Harbour Porpoise, Bottlenose Dolphin, Grey Seal, Atlantic Puffin, Guillemot and Razorbill.

Arrival - Waterfront Accomadation for 3 Nights

You’ll be starting your break by arriving at your truly unique accommodation sat atop the rocky shores of the Irish Sea. The accommodation is a self-catering property which can sleep up to 6 people.

Activity #1 - Boat Tour

Departing from the picturesque seaside town of Beaumaris, you’ll be jumping aboard either a speedboat or a gentle cruising vessel, the choice is yours. Arguably the best route for your boat tour will involve cruising to Puffin Island, a wonderful nesting site for a variety of seabirds including; puffins, guillemots, razorbills and kittiwakes. Around the island, there is also a chance of spotting the resident grey seals and possibly even porpoises and dolphins.

Activity #2 - Private Guided Tour at RSPB South Stack

You’ll be visiting South Stack Cliffs, a wonderful RSPB reserve on the North-East of Anglesey. The cliffs are home to countless migratory birds and on this day, you’ll be accompanied by one of the reserve’s experts to show you around some of the best places and help you spot some of the resident animals. You’ll learn all about the animals, the area’s astounding geology and what it takes to keep the reserve running.

This activity can be tailored to you and your party’s specific interests and requirements, but generally, we would recommend at least 2 hours with your guide to make the most of your visit.

Activity #3 - Anglesey Day Trip

Lead by a pair of local experts, you’ll be taken to the very best birdwatching locations looking for the special birds and mammals that call the area home (at least some of the time). The habitats you’ll get to explore include forests, estuaries, seacliffs and lagoons where the scenery will not disappoint.
